 Pandurang Sadashiv Sane, known as Sane Guruji(24/12/1899 to 11/06/1950) to his followers, was a famous Marathi author and social activist. He was born in a town Palghad in Ratnagiri district of the Konkan region in rural Maharashtra. He had a younger brother. He completed his B.A. amid poor financial conditions.
