The Aantarbharati Anuwad Suvidha Kendra (Translation Facility Center) is formed to fullfill Sane Guruji's vision of Aantarbharati. The kendra is based in Sane Guruji Rashtriya Smarak at Wadghar-Goregoan, taluka Mangaon, district Raigad, Maharashtra state.

This Centre aims to create a space for literary exchanges between different regions and languages of India via translation. It was inaugurated on 7 May 2006 and aimed at promoting mutual understanding and tolerance in society. It was thrown open with a donation of Rs. 1.50 lakhs from Bhatkal Foundation.

The Translation Center Has been envisaged and planned to provide all forms of source material for translators such as

  • reference books dictionaries in different Indian languages, studies on the science of translation,  encyclopedias etc.
  • Translated literature and wherever possible, manuscripts of unpublished translations will also be made available.
  • In addition to this, the Translation Centre will provide facilities, for a minimal fee, for translators to come and work at leisure in its peaceful and secluded environs.

Further, there will be stimulating interactions amongst writers and translators who come here to work. This interaction will help to introduce them to the writers and literatures of other languages and on the literary events and trends taking place in every corner of India.

The Translation Centre will thus become a catalyst in a rich exchange of ideas, experience, views and resources between translators.

Such an exchange will guarantee the fulfillment of the primary objective of the Sane Guruji National Memorial Trust – the promotion of understanding and harmony within the different regions and States of India.
